Tonight we were delighted that 10 young people turned up for our first JYC! Most of them either go to our church or have some connection to it.
As it was the first night, our priority was just to get to know each other better, so we played a few games, got everyone to introduce themselves and discussed some of the themes we want to look at in the future. Claudia gave a short testimony and then we had some refreshments. The two hours were over quickly.
We felt that all in all the night went very well and that the young people really enjoyed themselves. We will move it around the leaders homes for the next while and hopefully by the new year our church will be into its new building where there is lots of room for us to meet.

ReplyDeletejust thought i would send you guys a wee message to say hello and see how yous are doing! was thinking of you the other day and felt wick i hadn't emailed sooner. glad things are going well, hope the jyc continues with the 10 returning! maybe with friends too! hope you got plenty of room!!! simon and i doing well, just submitted our our application to miora bapt for discussion with the members so will hear back from that soon, i hope! not involved in church life just yet, waiting to see opportunity! harvest this week - thomas st was last sunday, church looked fab as usual. girls still trying to meet for bible study though no are down - janice, julie, joanne and me, its all good! not much else, just thought i would let ya know we do think of ya, feel free to email anytime!!!!!
