My new niece 'Amelia'

Congratulations to Susan (my sister), Paul and Luke on the birth early this morning (2.20am) of baby girl 'Amelia' !!!

Meeting the CEF Germany National Committee

Our quick trip to Germany at the weekend was very worthwhile. We are thankful to God for the physical strength He gave us as our family were all struck down with the flu for most of last week. I was so thankful that Claudia was able to accompany me on this trip (thanks mum & dad for looking after the boys!)
This weekend was the first time, we had visited the headquarters of CEF in Germany and met with their National Committee. CEF Ireland remains our 'sending country', but because Claudia is German and we will probably set up our home in Germany, we will have a lot to do with the German Headquarters in the future. Yesterday we attended a local free evangelical church in Dautphe where Gerd-Walter Buskies (CEF Germany National Director) was preaching. It turned out that it was the same church that Claudia's late Grandfather had attended for a couple of years. So some of the older folk were delighted to meet one of his granddaughters. We spent the rest of the day with Gerd-Walter before travelling back in the evening to Northern Ireland. Thanks again for upholding us in your prayers.
